Can’t edit custom fields

    When I click on the Edit button to edit a custom field on my registration form, the screen hangs and it never lets me in regardless of how long I wait or what browser that I use. I can delete the field and re-add it but that’s not very productive and what happens to the existing data in that field?

    The only way to get out of it is to click something else on the Dashboard and then come back to it.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

  • I’m having the same issue and have found no solution. I assume it could possibly be because of the recent WordPress update. Hoping to see a solution for this soon.

    Can you tell me what version of Profile Builder are you using? Extra Fields Types are available only in the Hobbyist or Pro versions. Please submit a support ticket regarding this issue because we are not allowed to offer support for premium plugins on these free forums.

    Did you check the browser console (F12) to see if you receive any error notices? Did you tried to deactivate all other plugins and use a default WordPress theme? Maybe there is a theme/plugin conflict.

    The data is stored inside the database so if you recreate the field using the same meta name, overwrite existing set to yes, it will display the data correctly.

    This issue happened recently or from the first install of Profile Builder?
