We discovered today that the “draft” status setting for a manually-input Wocommerce order is basically uneditable; you cannot do anything to the items included. To me, this makes no sense whatsoever. It looks like this issue was reported a couple years ago, and no actual response or fix was implemented? It sounds like settings of “on hold” or “order pending” allow items to be edited….but why not “draft”? By very definition, “draft” isn’t finalized…at least not in any other instance I can think of. Any explanations? What would you even use “draft” for if you cannot fully edit the order you create?

    VERY confused…

  • Hi @mpedersen

The wc-checkout-draft status is unique to the WooCommerce Checkout Block, which is still experimental and not yet part of the core WooCommerce plugin. The Draft status helps reserve stock for products that are added to the cart, and Draft orders are cleaned up every 24 hours currently.

If you’d like to see Draft orders editable, you can submit a feature request for WooCommerce core plugin by following steps: https://woocommerce.com/document/feature-request-portal/#section-4

    I hope that helps!
