    Hi,

Using an Astra theme on a new site and went to edit the footer block (which displays as expected) and instead of loading the edit preview in elementor it says “This page doesn’t seem to exist) and loads a 404. So, I tried to save the template from my local dev box but can’t import it! It gives me a blank error message. So, I created a new footer, which works and loads fine but as soon as I try to edit it, 404 page.

I did recently change the domain name. But I used the tool in elementor to change the entries and rebuilt the CSS. Everything else can be edited no problem but not the footer. Any help much appreciated!

    Hello @pageworthy,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Could you please try once if the issue fixes on your end after changing the permalink structure temporarily?

Let us know if this does not help.

I don’t know what changed but the next day I was able to edit the footer without issue. I cleared all caches multiple times and all I can think of is that an update to a plugin fixed things or some hidden cache in Elementor itself cleared. Thanks!

    Hi,

I use Astra theme on a new site and the template that I use has menus at the bottom that I tried editing (which I was able to change text in the editing area i.e., left plane but even after update/publish the menus still show in the page as the original template. I tried deleting the whole menu but still exists after publish.

    please help.

    Hello @bamet,

The footer template built using HFB is working fine at our end.

This can be an issue due to the cache as well. Please try deactivating the cache plugin and even purge the existing cache applied.

In order to investigate the issue at your end, please share the website link so we can check the exact issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Rahul.
