    Hi everyone,
I’m having a really tough time editing my existing pages with Elementor after making a staging copy of my WordPress site using SiteGround.

    Background:

    • My previous site builder was WP Bakery, which I’ve now deactivated.
    • I can create new pages and edit them with Elementor just fine.
    • The problem is with my existing pages: I can’t edit them from the backend or frontend. The ‘Edit with Elementor’ button doesn’t appear.

    I’ve already tried:

    • Ensuring that Elementor is enabled for all post types.
    • Using the Hello theme.
    • Reinstalling Elementor.
    • Deactivating all plugins except Elementor.
    • Clearing the server cache.
    • Checking and setting the site directory permissions to 777

I’ve even tried removing all WP Bakery shortcodes from one of my existing pages, but that didn’t make a difference.

Does it make sense that older pages might not be editable with Elementor? What else can I try to avoid having to rebuild all my pages from scratch? I have a lot of content to convert, and it would be ideal to be able to adapt these pages one by one.

    Thanks in advance!
