• While in the editor, I can see and edit all but one page of our website.
The “Contact Us” page will not appear and therefore I cannot edit.

    Any ideas out there?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Tks.

  • Do you have a link the page on your site that you are unable to edit? Maybe the Contact Us page is created by your theme or a plugin and not the post or page editor?

all pages were created the same way and at the same time.
    the Permalink: is there.
and the page can be viewed in the editor.

    thanks for your answer.

You initially said “the contact us page will not appear and therefore I cannot edit” but now “the page can be viewed in the editor”. Can you please elaborate, or share some screenshots?

In the dashboard, all pages can be edited except the “Contact Us” page.
Across the top of the page in the editor, there are three buttons, “edit, view page, and get shortlink”.

When I click on view page , the page opens up in the same tab of IE.
Which tells me the link is there and established.

I can’t seem to paste a screen shot here.
    sorry.

Can you post a link to your site? Have you tried another browser?

    (@rdw-admin)

Yes, I have tried another browser.
It does not appear to be a browser issue, because we can edit all pages but this one.
    Its getting somewhat frustrating.

    What theme are you using?

Have you tried deactivating your plugins? Have you tried switching to a default theme (twentyfourteen)?

    I have not deactivated plugins.
I have not switched to a default theme.

The site is fully developed and running.
We cannot switch to a default theme can we?
    Maybe I’m missing something.

Those are standard troubleshooting steps – yes, it will change the site (temporarily).

Is this a custom theme/site? If so, have you asked the developer about how it was set up?
