Can't edit "pages" visual section

Hi, I am new to word press and I am trying to edit one of my pages and only the first couple sentences show in the visual editor section. It shows all the html as well as the 500+ word count but the screen is blank. When I “view” the page, the info is showing but needs some serious editing. Any suggestions? I have also re-installed the latest update & cleared out cache/browsing history but that didn’t help.
