Can’t edit plugins after migration

    Is the WordPress admin user your logged in as; set as an Administrator? If not then be sure they are Admin. If so then you might have an issue with the plugins file permissions where the PHP user is unable to edit the plugins folder. If that is the case you might double check with your hosting provider.

    Hello,
    the user is an Administrator.
    I also created a new user as Administrator but the issue is still the same.

    The folder permission is set to 755.

    I can see and edit the plugins on “Plugin Editor” tab but not on “Installed Plugins”.

    WordPress is recognize the updates and allow me to update plugins.

    When I install a new WordPress installation on the same host it works all fine.

    That is a bit odd! I’m not sure if I have ever seen that behavior before. You might try safe mode on the installer step 1 and see if that helps any at all. What if you Duplicate the “New Installation” to another location does the same behavior still happen?

    Yep you are right, is really odd! I Google for the solution all day but did not found the reason.

    Then, as you suggested, I reinstalled with “Safe mode” enabled and now it all works fine.

    “WP Editor” is causing the issue.
    When I activate it the issue is the same.
