• Hi!

I have a weird issue with the plugin. On one specific host I can’t edit any profiles. When I click the cog and then Edit profile, it just loads the profile page again, with all profile info but no form for editing.

On an exact replica of the site on my local environment, and also on another host, it’s working. But where my site is actually running it’s just not working. And I can’t see any error messages or so.

Some other thread here mentioned switching Account and Member page in the settings, and doing so is actually making the profile form appear, but messes up a lot of other stuff.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @simonwimell,

Have you tried to disable all plugins and switching to the default WordPress theme so we can rule out any conflicts?

Please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> General and make sure that you have correct User and account page assigned e.g your Account page should contain [ultimatemember_account] shortcode and your User page the shortcode of your profile form.

Also, make sure that your User page doesn’t have parent page in “Page attribute” widget.

    Regards.

The user page has the correct profile form shortcode and no page parent.

Deactivating all plugins except Ultimate Member and activating Twenty Seventeen makes no difference.

There seem to be some issue with the um_is_on_edit_profile() not returning true, since the <form> tags don’t get printed.

same here, in combination with asgaros forum – any help’d be highly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi @simonwimell,

Can you please check error log file of your server and see if you have error entries there? Please contact your hosting provider if you are not sure how to check error.log file of your server.

    Regards.
