    Hi,

For me it is not possible to edit the seo-title of the homepage of my website. From the SEO-settings I’m redirected to the page which I’ve set as a homepage, but when trying to edit the snippet, I can’t edit the SEO-title field (see screenshot below to see which field I mean). I can click on it, but do not have the option to actually change and save the contents:

    Edit SEO-title page

Thanks for any suggestions on how to solve this!

What happens if you type directly into the SEO title field? Does it save the new title when you save/update the page?

Oh gosh…was trying to update the prefilled grey text, didn’t even think I could type over it…

So yes, that works, problem solved, thanks!

Thanks for this. I just had the same question. Allowing us to overwrite but not edit seems unusual, and hence unexpected. Well, that’s my excuse!

There must be a better way for this to be handled. I, too, was completely mystified about how to edit that field!

Just arrived here from Google after facing the same issue. Clearly a UX fail.

I had the same question. This solution worked for me, but as others have noted, this is not at all an obvious mechanism to update SEO title. Much more obvious is to type directly into the SEO title box.
Given that, THANK YOU for your great plugin!
