Can’t edit Shop, Cart, Chechkout, etc templates

    Hi,

    I deactivated the plugin for like 5 minutes to figure out some other, unrelated issue, and ever since I turned it back on, I can’t edit any of the shop pages/templates.

    Elementor shows an error message that says: “Sorry the content area was not found in your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

    As if I didn’t have Shop Engine. But I do have it. And it worked fine until recently.

    So please help me with this. Thank you

    To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Change your permalink structure to ‘Plain’ and save the changes.
    3. Revert the permalink structure back to your previous one and save the changes. You can follow this video.

    If the permalink reset does not work, try switching the theme to Hello Elementor or the 2020 default theme.
