Can’t edit sidebar

    If you click the link to my site you can see what im trying to edit. On the far right you see a box with “Apply Now” and I’m trying to edit that. I’m relatively new to WordPress but I’ve gone through absolutely every option and I cannot find where I can edit the homepage. It’s not static so it’s not in pages afaik. I just want to edit the link that apply now button sends you to. Any way to do this? Also I’m not sure if this has anything to do with it but when I use the Customize Appearance tool in the Admin panel it doesn’t load the preview for the site. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi there,

    It looks like what you are trying to edit is a widget. More specifically it looks like the ‘Advanced Text Widget’ that comes with the Optimizer theme, and it is the first widget in the main sidebar. There should be an option within the Customizer for adding / editing widgets, and if not then there should be an option within Appearance -> Widgets from your WordPress dashboard.
