can’t edit Slider Revolution

I can’t find better forum, therefore posting here:
I cannot edit the Revolution Slider at all. When I click on the sliders in main menu, then no rename, duplicate etc. appear. In the edit window, layers are missing (though they display properly on the website) – only the background image is shown. It’s loading quite a while and then all is stopped. It came “out of the blue” no change in the web recently. Any idea appreciated.
