• in viewing a page or post, residual Intrace elements appear that are not visible after saving customization. At the top of the screen is an image of a living room. At the bottom are two blocks I do not want to appear.

I think I have found these elements in the source code, but I can’t delete them. I copied the code and pasted it into Visual Studio. I can edit the code there, but cannot copy and paste the edited version over the source code in the WP theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @scotnik

Could you make the page published?
So I can check what causing the issue.

Also I don’t recommend to edit the theme’s files directly, this can cause an issue when there is a theme update. Because all the changes you’ve made could possibly be missing after an update.

The post is published and the site is live, but I was logged into the site. Maybe that was the problem, The above link is a page, not a post, but it is marred by the same image at the top and block elements at the bottom.

    Hi @scotnik

It’s because your pages used default template.
    (Templates are located in?Dashboard->Appearance->Editor).

The default Page template contains header, footer, hero and page’s content.
Which mean, if you trying to add a full page layout from library, it will be loaded inside the page’s content hence why it looks like that.

If you need to make the page’s content full (without using the default template), You can switch the page’s default template into Blank Canvas.

Here is a screenshot reference :

The editor didn’t give me template options. Turns out I had to go to Dashboard > Pages >Quick Edit to find template options, but I wouldn’t have thought to go there without your advice. So, thank you. My pages now look like I wanted them to.

Now I just have to figure out how to fix the same problem with my posts. Unfortunately, Quick Edit on a post does not give me a Template option field in which I can choose “Blank Canvas.”

    Hi @scotnik

In that case, you might need to edit the Single template directly in Dashboard->Appearance->Editor.
Inside the Site Editor click the WordPress logo, then choose option Templates, and then choose the Single template.
    Please check this screenshot :

Remove the part that you don’t want to use.
