can't edit/delete pics after 4.5

  • Our society is using Born theme.
    We have had no problem in past to edit or delete pics from page.
    Normally when clicking on pic handles would appear and you could delete or re-size.
    This does not happen now – only the text can be deleted/edited.
    Another thing that has happened which may be related is when we go into a page to edit the page is blank – we have to click “text” first when the html becomes visible and then on “Visual” and the page is then populated.
    We are about to add approx 35 new pics to our pages are we would appreciate
    any help/sdvice/suggestions how to remedy our problem.

    It sounds like your theme is having issues with the latest jQuery that comes with WP 4.5. I would suggest that you contact the theme developers and ask them to look into this issue for you.

    I think that the Born theme is no longer supported.
    I have re-installed my backup pre 4.5 and all working as expected.
    Now looking for a new theme.?
