• From yesterday, I can’t enter to my Admin Panel and instead of that, it shows first screen of installation process, on:

    https://www.mydomain,com/wp-admin

I tried what I read in one of the post of the forum, check and repair databases from MyPhP Admin but the issue is still there.

Customer service of my hosting supplier is working on it but it takes ages to get an answer (how strange!) and it’s weekend!! I need that site back asap. Any ideas?

    Thanks!!

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). If you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

    Hi Tara,

thanks for your help. I did everything that you told me in your message but it didn’t work. I’ve reseted all my plugins by FTP all or one by one and it didn’t work. Even I’ve changed by FTP my theme by the default theme and again it didn’t work. Still is jumping to WP installation when I try to access to my WP login page (www.mydomain.com/wp-admin is jumping to https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php).

It’s pretty weird because I have with the same supplier a similar WP installation in other domain, with same theme and plugins and that one is working fine. The issue started 24 hours ago and I didn’t do anything in the Cpanel, Server, etc… pretty weird like I said.

More ideas to try to fix this? I am desperate!

    Thanks again Tara!

If you recall, what exactly did you before this issue happened?

Like I told you, I didn’t do anything in the server yesterday before the issue. Nothing. The only thing that I did yesterday was remove old linked WP installations of my wordpress.com panel account but I didn’t touch this one. Nothing! It’s pretty weird… I need help…..

I just remembered another thing that I did yesterday was to activate from my account in WordPress.com the automatically update of my plugins in some of my WP installations. I do not remember if I did it in the site of the issue but I’m quite sure that I did that in one site at least and that site is working fine, without issue.

Do you think that maybe this could be the origin of the issue? I can’t reverse that action right now because since the issue started, this site appears disconnected in my WordPress.com account panel so, I can’t reverse that option of automatically updates of the plugins.

But like I told you I did it in other site and it’s working fine and I’m not pretty sure if I did it in the site of the issue.

    Any ideas?

activate from my account in WordPress.com the automatically update of my plugins

    Is your site at wordpress.COM?

    Thread Starter santyjazz

    (@santyjazz)

Nope, I have my account in wordpress.com. Because I have Jetpack installed in my WordPress installations, I have these installations linked to my wordpress.com account. Do you understand? The site with the issue is not hosted in WordPress.com, is in an another server but is linked to my WordPress.com admin panel. If the site would be in WordPress.com it would be easier to fix this issue.

Got some other ideas about how can I fix this issue? I need helppppp!!!!
