Can’t Enter WP-Admin/Dashboard

    All of the sudden when I try to go to the dashboard or wp-admin on my blog I get:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: error() in /home/isomd/public_html/journal/wp-includes/rss-functions.php on line 79

    The blog proper shows up but I can’t get to the admin area. I searched the forum but what I found did not seem applicable. I’d appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

    Follow-up: I can get to every page in admin EXCEPT the dashboard. I deactivated the wp-dash plugin and it brought up the original dashboard sans the rss feeds. Is the problem just that the rss feeds to dashboard are temporarily not working? Or per chance the plugin was irradiated by hostile alien forces? Inquiring minds want to know. ??

    Follow-up: Although I could see the traditional dashboard area after deactivating the wp-dash plugin, there were no RSS reeds as usually seen on the dashboard. Today, when those feeds reappeared in the traditional dashboard, I re-activated the plug-in and everything works as it did before. Apparently if the RSS feeds are borked, so goes wp-dash. Hope this helps anyone else with a similar experience.
