  • Its very acceptable to have a few bugs in the Software you designed! Its not acceptable to don’t consider those issues!

CJT Plugin is not involved in the installation process when you installing the Plugin via WordPress ‘Add New Plugin’ form. CJT Installation start after you activated the Plugin and then opened the CJT admin page for the first time, it then take you to the CJT installation process.

The error text you show that you cannot get the file downloaded from the WordPress repository! CJT is not involved on this procedure as it still not installed yet.

I’m happy to help you getting over this issue. Could you please explain me some more about the steps you made.

    Thanks Ahmed,
first I tried to Install the plugin by using the Add New Plugin on WP Dashboard I received the message that appears in my previous post.
So I went to the plugin part of the forums and read your instructions on installing. I downloaded the plugin
I tried uploading the plugin with Add New plugins submenu using the upload on that screen and browsing to the file on my local computer.
This sends a request then times out.
I then used filezilla ftp to upload it to the WP directory but it actually does not appear there on the WP site anywhere.
Is it possible for me to uzip it locally and install the parts manually using my Domain Server file manager?
I wasn’t citicising your programme because I haven’t yet been able to use it.
    Kind Regards
    David

    Hi Ahmed,
This is the very first time I have had any problem with installing a plugin every other time the installation is done from the Admin-add new button. I think you may be right about the host configuration I have had lengthy chats with their tech people after which your plugin magically appeared in my Installed Plugins admin page. Now that could be because I uploaded it using ftp and finally it worked. It is now a button at the top of my UltimateTinyMCE editor an excellent plugin. As I wrote before when I have tried out your plugin I will let you know what I think.
    Kind Regards

    Hello David!

This things happened everywhere and the reasons might be many and varying.

I’m glad you got it work and start to utilize from all the features right there. You can also visit CJT Website https://css-javascript-toolbox.com/ to know more about the Plugin and what might you found within the PRO edition.

It would be great if you reflect your thoughts by posting a review (https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/css-javascript-toolbox#postform) so you we can keep the Plugin rated at the WordPress repository.

I’m going through this issue right now with Bluehost technical support. I got around it by uploading the plugin via FTP and then going through the activation and installation process.

This issue with the webhost happened all of a sudden and I can’t seem to install any plugins via Plugins > Add New.

If I remember, and if Bluehost technical support gives any information on what the issue is, I’ll post back here for others that may have this issue.

I’m on Bluehost and suddenly getting the same “Not Acceptable!” plugin install issue. Did they ever get back to you with a fix?

    Hello everyone,

Could you please let me know what is the result you get when typing WORDPRESS_SITE_DOMAIN/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?x=data1&z=data2&y=data3 in your browser while you logged in to your wordpress dashboard?

1 Open Your WordPress site login page
2 Login with your user and password
3 Open another Browser tab, type the address above by changing WORDPRESS_SITE_DOMAIN to your web site domain/url

    Thanks

    Regards,
    AHMeD
