can’t even get to login page – 500 internal server error

i was able to log in but the site took a long time to load. i could access wordpress things but nothing related to my theme.. i logged out and saw the following errors when logged into my host site:

[apache][warn][pid 5259] [client 35.208.17.170:36124] Timeout waiting for output from CGI script/home/u306-fmam68rcs7sp/www/grandbendbulletin.ca/public_html/index.php

now i can’t even get the login page to my domain because the page says 500-internal error.i read a few forum posts on fixing this error but i can’t even log into my site!! please help.
