Hi there. Just having an issue exporting out a site from my local server. I’ve recently done away with MAMP (to heavy and intensive) in favour of using Laravel Valet for my local env. Was able to export a punch of prod sites over into it fairly easy.

However I’ve done some recent changes and just want to export out of my (valet) local site onto a remote dev server. However it flashes the message “Unable to Export” really quickly with info about refreshing the page. Then it goes back to the process – which just seems to hang.

I’ve checked out all your FAQ re how to fix the issue (disabling plugins, checking error logs, changing themes, etc) and nothing is working. There are no obvious errors or issues. I think it is the way VALET is setting up my local sites. Is it an issue that I use an nginx and mariadb locally when I’m trying to export?

Are you on PHP 7.3 by chance? Try PHP 7.2

Yes I am using the latest 7.3. Strange, I did not think there was much difference between them. I will try and switch to v7.2

I actually did a brew switch and link to php7.1 and I am still getting the same issue. Have you or anyone else been able to replicate the same issue in Laravel Valet @yani?

I haven’t seen any reports of anyone using Laravel Valet. It is also new to me.
There is a bug in PHP 7.3 which I filled here: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=77263

Thanks. I used your mod’ plugin and it worked! Is it possible this could be patched in an upcoming version of your plugin? Or perhaps are you waiting on an official bug fix on php 7.3?

Yes, we will add a fix for it in the next version.
It also means that your switch from 7.3 to 7.2 did not work – something to keep in mind ??

Hi Yani. Actually I switched back my local version to 7.3 with brew and then tried out your modified plugin. I had issues on php7.2 and php7.3 on Laravel Valet when exporting from local.
