    Hi,

I’m trying to export orders and it won’t work. Actually, it does work, but including a particular day and try to export it in .XLS format, it won’t. It does work in .CSV format with that particular day.

When it doesn’t work, I’ll see a work-in-progress bar and a Blank popup without any error message in it. When I try “export w/o progressbar” I see a HTTP error 500.

It’s only with one particular day (june 4th 2017). If I exclude this day, I can make an export in .XLS format.

We would like to continue making exports in .XLS format including that particular day. How to resolve this and why it isn’t possible to make an export in .XLS format?

btw, we use Nginx as webserver. Maybe this information is important.

    Regards,

    Hello

I think there is an order which has problem with 1-2 fields.
Can you review the CSV file? Probably, excel formula?

Do you have access to Apache logs? Error 500 is useless.
    thanks, Alex

Do you see it immediately after press “Export” ? Do you see progressbar ?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your quick response. I don’t have access to the Nginx logs, but i checked the CSV file.

Maybe this is something XLS has a problem with this:
“Customer Note” -> = Buren, hebben een sleutel (translated as = neigbours, have a key)

    Note the ‘=’ sign.

On your other question, We do see the progressbar first, but after a second of 4, we do see the empty error message.

    Hi Alex,

See my previous reply. The ‘=’ sign in the customer note is the problem.
By removing the ‘=’ sign at the customer note at the shipping details, I was able to export the order of june 4th in XLS without any problems.

You pointed me to the right directions.
Is this a bug in the plugin?

    hi Roland

The bug was fixed in version 1.4.1.

Force string format for some Excel columns ( customer note, phone number,..)
