• I downloaded The Morning After, but can’t get the files to extract from the zip file.

I keep getting a message that says “There is already a file with that name in this folder”. The only files with matching names are the ones I’m trying to extract! It won’t allow me to change the names of any zipped files, despite the computer repeatedly telling me “Change the specified name and try again.”

I’ve tried extracting the files on two seperate computers and nothing. It’s driving me nuts. Has anyone else experienced this problem? And if, how can I fix it?

  • Uhhh… where did you download it from? I followed the link here (so I could see if it would extract for me):

    https://code.google.com/p/the-morning-after/

and upon extraction (it extracted perfectly) found it contained a virus. Luckily Comodo caught it. Perhaps that has something to do with the problem you’re having.

If you happen upon this post… DON’T DOWNLOAD THE MORNING AFTER THEME FROM THE LINK ON THE GOOGLE PAGE I POSTED ABOVE!

    I downloaded it from it’s homepage – https://themasterplan.in/tma

I’m having the same problem now with the Magazeen theme. What I’ve gathered is that the zip file contains blank files with corresponding names to each folder, ie there is a file named “images” because there is a folder named “images”. These blank files have no file extension, just a name. If I open them in Notepad, they’re empty. If I delete them, then everything extracts perfectly.

The question now is: are these files actually there for a reason? If I delete them, will the theme still work? Has anyone else come across a problem like this before?

The link you gave is where the Google page I linked to leads. As I said — it gave me a virus. I suggest scanning your comp.
