Can't figure out how to remove the adsense from my graphene site

I added adsense to my site but unfortunately the ad is the wrong size and is in the wrong place. I can’t seem to be able to change the ad and have tried applying for a new ad but nothing has happened (it just says they are ‘idle’ on my adsense account) and I just want to temporarily disable the account. I read on another thread that i can do this by removing the adsense code.
-Do I do this in Dashboard >appearance> editor? and under which template (there are so many) do i find the code to remove it?
