Can't Figure Out How To Set It Up

    I want to be able to go into something and say, “this specific editor can only make contributions on these specific pages, and nowhere else”. I don’t see any capabilities in settings for that. This plugin appears to allow you only to broadly set restrictions, but not to specify what the restrictions should be. I’m clearly missing something, and I can’t find any documentation to educate me on it.

    Controlling who can edit pages isn’t what this plugin is for, it is very much a single function plugin that literally just restricts the parent options for a user.

    If you’re trying to lock down edit permissions then something like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-role-editor/ would be what you need, Restrict Page Parents just complements this.
