Can't figure out where to change this

  • I just renamed my blog. I’ve just about got everything switched over but the old blog name is still showing up in little letters at the top left hand of the web site. I can’t figure out where this setting is at so I can change it. The blog is now tlcoffeywrites.com The onld name was Fantasy Book Blog. The site is still displaying Fantasy Book Blog in the top left corner. How do I fix this?

    I already went into my php admin and changed the site name manually. I’ve looked through all the files and don’t see anything else showing the old name. ???

  • Can you please include a URL to your website? The first thing I would check is at Dashboard –> Settings –> General Site Title.

    The page source on your site tlcoffeywrites shows that it could be a breadcrumb. Do u have any breadcrumb plugin installed or possibly a seo plugin that adds breadcrumbs

    What does it say at: Dashboard –> Settings –> Tagline?

    The tagline is: Adventures in Epic Fantasy

    Got it! It was in the Yoast SEO plugin as “anchor text for the home page”

    Thank you!! I’d have never found it if you hadn’t suggested a breadcrumb plugin.

    Ah okay, so you customized the SEO plugin. By default it pulls just the tagline. Cheers ??
