    Hi Guys,

We have an issue with checkout page.
credit card section is not fillable. think its our customised theme causing issue. when I switched theme to one of default theme it works. I tried to downgrade to several different version but it didn’t help.

    we get this message
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘defaults’ of undefined
any idea do you think we could try?

    thanks.

    Hi there @eundoong

Thanks for reaching out, and also letting us know what you’ve done already.

when I switched theme to one of default theme it works
so we turned WPBakery Visual Composer plug in off and it seems working.

What I’d recommend, and if @dshults is using the same theme and plugin to do the same, is first to make sure there are no updates pending, then to contact the developers of the theme and plugin and ask about this conflict.

The issue isn’t due to the Stripe plugin, but rather the incompatibility with third-party software.

I’m going to leave this thread open a bit then close it off as the issue is not related to this plugin.

    Thanks,

    @dougaitken

We are not using WPBakery Visual Composer. We are using a custom theme. In our single-page checkout flow, the Stripe fields are missing.

We have stepped through the following without resolution and have a ticket with Prospress support.

    • Enabled the default Twenty Seventeen WordPress theme
    • Updated all site plugins
    • Disabled each plugin individually (Except for WC Core, WC Memberships, WC Subscriptions, WC Stripe Gateway, WC One Page Checkout, and ACF [required])

Our development team is now stepping through the WC plugin code for the Stripe Gateway and Single Page Checkout. Any additional insight you can provide would be appreciated.

To confirm, are you using the One Page Checkout extension along with the Stripe extension and this is the core of the problem?

    Thanks,

    Thanks

We were able to dig deeper and the issue was an outdated version of the stripe.js file being loaded. Stripe.js v2 was being loaded and from what I understand the plugin and One Page Checkout requires v3

Hope this helps if anyone else comes across this.

    Hey @dshults

Can you confirm what version of the Stripe extension you have installed, please?

I have One Page Checkout enabled on this product and everything is loading correctly – https://doug.press/product/one-page-checkout-product/

To confirm this is using the https://www.woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-one-page-checkout extension.

This screenshot shows that Stripe v3 is loading on the site – https://cld.wthms.co/8a4dNi

@eundoong – your issue doesn’t sounds related to One Page Checkout, but my advice is still the same – speak to the authors of the WPBakery plugin.

    Hey @dshults @eundoong

We haven’t heard back from you in a while – were you able to sort out your issues?

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,

This is also happening with the eWay gateway. I also tried the Stripe gateway and same issue. However, turning off WPBakery Visual Composer fixed the issue. Thanks @eundoong
