    Hello,
I love this plugin first of all, and I’m fairly good with CSS so I should be able to figure my issue out but I am stumped. Anyway, I’m trying to change just the font and font color in my main navigation menu at the very top of my theme. The problem is, every CSS selector/font control I’ve tried not only changes the main navigation menu but it also changes the post headings as well as the links on my sidebar and any other links on the page. Here’s my website:
toyfevertoys.com and I’m using the Highwind theme.
I’ve already tried creating several font controls that Sunny listed for other people in other posts, and I also tried this one: .main-nav > .buttons > a
But nothing seems to work. ??
Any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance!

Also, I have changed the current font to Arial so that you may see what exactly the font control is controlling on the page.

    Hi toyfevertoys,
Try creating new font controls using the following selectors:

    • Top Level Navigation: .main-nav ul.menu a
    • Submenu: .main-nav ul.menu ul a

Let me know how you get on. Cheers

    Hello,
Thank you for the suggestion, but those still did not work. It still changes not only the font & font color of my navigation menu but it also changes ALL of the links on the rest of the page. Do you know of any other controls I can try? Thanks again for the help.

    Hi toyfevertoys,
You have not added the css selectors correctly. Copy and paste the selectors in the post above. Let me know how you get on. Cheers

I am having the exact same problem as toyfevertoys. Currently, I have the Foodie Pro theme installed, but Easy Google Fonts is not overriding my theme’s fonts. I had .main-nav as my CSS selector but I copied and pasted your selectors to not avail.

Does your plugin override existing theme CSS unconditionally? I can’t figure out why the override isn’t working.

    Hi wellandfull,
Could you post a link to a specific page on your website and point out exactly what you are looking to change and I’ll give you a hand with this. Cheers

    Hello Sunny!
I just wanted to let you know that I copy and pasted the selectors as you had instructed and it worked beautifully! Thank you again! Love this plugin!

    Hi toyfevertoys,
My pleasure, thanks for letting me know. If you could rate this plugin when you get a moment that would be great. Cheers
