Can′t find Demo Import in Appearances

  • Hi Acme Demo Set Up,
    We′re using the awesome Education Base and are trying to upload the zip-file ‘Eduction Base Demo Data Zip-file In Appearences => Demo Import. The problem is that we can not find the Demo Import choice. Can you please give advice how to install this properly. The downloaded zip-file is called ‘Education-base-demo-data-zip’

    Hello @evastream1022 ,

    Please make sure you are using the latest version of Education Base WordPress theme, also please use latest version of Acme Demo Setup,
    On the latest version, we are using Advanced Import Plugin to import demo.
    Please make sure you have installed this plugin.
    When you go to Appearance => Demo Import you will see this screen , You can just click on import to import demo.
    Let us know if this fix the issue.

    Thank you for imput.
    We have the latest version of Education Base Version: 2.0.1
    We have also the latest version of Acme Demo Import Version 2.0.1
    Also we managed to install Advanced Import Plugin and can now find Appearance => Demo Import
    BUT the issue now is that it won′t accept the zip file‘Education-base-demo-data-zip’
    Could you please give us the link to get the correct demo data zip file to upload in Demo Import?

    Hi again,
    Another matter; When we uses a Child Theme for Eduction Base (The same with the Pro version) The arrows in the top menu / horizontal stops to be visible. Could you recommend a child theme plug in that works well with Education Base and Pro ? https://belysningssallskapet.se/
    We have tested with both plug ins Child Theme Generator and WP Child Theme Generator

    Could this have anything to do with no uploaded zipfile in Demo Import?

    Hello @evastream1022 ,

    You don’t need zip file to import demo content. You can easily import via this screen.
    We have updated documentation.

    Regarding another query, if you are not going to customize the code of the theme don’t use a child theme, if you are using child theme try to load CSS in same order of parent theme.

    For better understanding what you are saying, can you send the link of the screenshot.
