Does anyone have information to share regarding the implementation of the mobile app? After waiting for two months to receive instructions, I’ve immediately hit a wall…the support team sent me a google doc to fill out and a separate google doc (mind you, it looks entirely generic which doesn’t inspire confidence) which lists a plugin (Directorist App Toolkit) I have to install that doesn’t exist on the WordPress Plugin Directory. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated…the support takes a long time to respond and I’m trying to move things along to avoid further delays.

    Hello @kdcpelt !

    Thanks for reaching out.

The plugin (Directorist App Toolkit) is a custom plugin that has been built only for the app. This is why you are unable to get the app at WordPress Plugin Directory. No worries, the development team will upload the plugin a your site while building the app.

    Kind Regards.

    Hi Rashed,

Thank you for the clarification. I recommend you update the document(s) and documentation that are sent to customers who are supposed to go through this process. While not totally unclear, it leads the customer to believe they are supposed to install those plugins. Then, when the plugin can’t be found, it creates confusion and concern that the process will not work. Also, when a plugin isn’t on the WordPress Plugin Directory, it by passes the benefit of having the WP community evaluate it and to have open dialogue and documentation of the development of the plugin (support, bugs, fixes, suggestions, etc.). These comments are meant to be constructive and I hope they are helpful. Best regards, KC
