Can’t find directory

  • Hey there,

    When I try to import my HTML pages, I am getting this message:

    Warning: scandir(/home/worthybr/public_html/wp-content/html-importer): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/worthybr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 273

    It seems like it’s saying that directory doesn’t exist, but I’m certain I have the correct absolute path. What could I be missing here? My site is hosted on SiteGround using cpanel if that helps anything.

    I checked your account and can confirm that the /home/worthybr/public_html/wp-content/html-importer directory does not exist.

    The folder is actually /home/worthybr/public_html/wp-content/html-import

    Okay so the import appears to have worked with all my pages, but it didn’t grab any of the images. I noticed the images are in a weird nested folder (uploads/4/0/2/5/40259159) — could this be why?

    Is there a way to repeat the import without duplicating content or just grab these images somehow?

    Not sure if the nested folder will be a problem. The plugin devs will address this question.

    I see several timeouts in the web server logs. This could be related to the fact that the uploads/4/0/2/5/40259159 directory contains a bit over 3.5GB of data. You can try a smaller import batch.

    I would recommend that you continue monitoring this thread. Also, you can post a Support Ticket from your SiteGround User Area and describe to our team how to reproduce the issue. They will review this in detail (with your permission of course) and will share notes that in combination with this thread will lead to a resolution of this issue.

    Hey there,

    Just checking in. I submitted a ticket to SiteGround and while they had a suggestion for a bulk media upload plugin, they said they were unable to help with this issue. Any luck with the plugin devs?
