• Help! I have two wordpress sites. The first one i’ve had for years (globalroaming.at) but i recently set up a second one I set up a couple of months ago and it’s just a basic free version with the title ‘wordpress.thetroublewithfreedom’. I haven’t published it yet and when i went to refind it on a new computer to publish it I can’t log in!

When i used to log into it i noticed that both wordpress sites appeared and i could toggle between them. But on the computer i’m on now i logged into the globalroaming dashboard and i can only see it and not the ‘freedom’ site.

I’m using the same password (I think!). Any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @melissaglobal – is the full URL for your domain https://thetroublewithfreedom or is there supposed to be a TLD associated with the URL such as .com, .at, .net, etc.? It’s not loading for me when I go to the site, and domain names require a TLD associated with the domain name.

    Hi Ben,
    sorry, it’s https://thetroublewithfreedom.wordpress.com/

I managed to find it and log in and publish it now so i know i can find it again! but it’s still a mystery to me why i can switch between sites when I’m on this but can’t when i’m on the ‘globalroaming’ site (which is linked to a web domain I own so maybe that’s why?).

    thanks, melissa

Yes, that’s my guess as well @melissaglobal. I’m not familiar with the method you’re using for switching between sites, but your thetroublewithfreedom site is hosted on wordpress.com and has a different domain from the globalroaming.at site, which can cause issues if you try to stay logged in between two sites.

If it’s a question about configuring your sites on WordPress.com, you might want to ask on their support forums at https://wordpress.com/support/

    Good luck!

Here are a few things you can try:
Make sure that you are posting quality and original content.
Make sure your Privacy Settings allow search engines to index your site. …
Make sure that your site is set to Public.
Google provides information and tools for webmasters, where you can seek further help.
