• I have installed a plugin successfully via my FTP client to the wp-content/plugins directory, but have no idea how to activate it. I don’t know how to find the plugins page within my wordpress blog’s admin page where that supposedly takes place. On the left-hand side, I see all sort of links – posts, media, tools, settings, etc., but nothing about plugins.

Does this have anything to do with widgets? I.e., does your theme need to be “widget-aware”?

Could someone please tell me how to find my blog’s plugins page?

OK, I think I discovered the answer – I’m using WordPress.com, not .org. Looks like the two options are:

    1 – password-protect each post, or,
2 – password-protect the entire blog, but I would have to pay $30/year since the blog is essentially a newsletter that goes out to 200 people.

    Any alternatives?

    Thanks again,
    Bryan
