Can’t find settings

Look into Tools > Privacy.

Didn’t the installation wizard help?

It’s ok, thought this Privacy was from WordPress’ last update.

Another thing I can’t find is how to add the consent checkbox to forms, comments, etc.

Hi there!

The consent checkbox is automatically added to comment & registration forms.
However, it’s not added to custom forms as not all custom forms require a consent checkbox. See the knowledge base for more info: https://codelight.eu/wordpress-gdpr-framework/knowledge-base/do-my-contact-forms-need-a-consent-checkbox/

If you still need a consent checkbox, you can simply use the tools provided by your form builder. See the guidelines here: https://codelight.eu/wordpress-gdpr-framework/guide/legal-grounds-for-processing-data/
