    Hi.

I am using the official UPS WooCommerce plugins – Shipping Labels and Tracking and UPS Shipping Labels. I have thanks to your plugin two versions of the site – Polish and English. The problem appeared when sending automatic emails to customers informing about the creation of a UPS package and its number. The messages show up in Polish and I can’t find the strings anywhere to translate them into English – so that the message displays in both language versions. In the case of other shipping providers, I have searched for strings in the string translation editor, but in this case I cannot find them there. Can I ask you for help?

    thank you in advance

  • Greetings,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The WooCommerce emails are actual templates (like theme files) so it means you can translate whatever is localized using gettext in them –https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/gettext.

Our plugin doesn’t yet detect these strings because they are not visible in the front-end, only processed. The good news is that most languages already have these translated properly.

Out of order emails like reminders (if you use subscriptions) will also be sent in the user language as we store the user language, starting with TranslatePress – Multilingual version 2.3.5+ and WooCommerce version 6.8+, in order to know in what language we should send the email — https://translatepress.com/docs/translating-woocommerce-emails/.
