  • That’s because they’re scattered into pieces in the translation file.

First you translate “event”, “Event”, “events” and “Events”.

then you need to look for this:
    %s In
%s stands for where the word for “event” is supposed to be.

    and then there’s this:
    Find %s

    There’s two of these:
    %1$s for %2$s
one for month view and one for day view.

    And don’t forget this one
    %1$s for %2$s - %3$s

thank you. i did everthing as you did and almost done.
but i can’t find “for” in topic (https://bizplus.az/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Capture.jpg)

    where is that ‘for’? i tried %1$s for %2$s and %1$s for %2$s – %3$s but it didn’t help

These should be in your .po file that starts with the prefix the-events-calendar-
    %1$s for %2$s [ month view ]
    %1$s for %2$s [ day_view ]

Don’t forget to upload both the .mo and the .po file. Sometimes I hit save and then forget to upload, and wonder why nothing’s changing!

There’s more than one set of language files in The Events Calendar. Be sure you didn’t upload to the-events-calendar/common/lang instead of the-events-calendar/lang
