Can't Find Where I Did What I Did

  • I want to change three sentences I typed onto my homepage when I launched my site but it’s been so long since I typed them that I don’t remember where in my control panel to make the changes. I’m using the theme Revoltz by der Design.

    I was hoping maybe someone here who knows their way around WordPress or the Revoltz theme could look at my site and give me a clue. The sentences I want to change are under: Consider This – Very Punny & Quote. My site is https://www.barefootfilms.net

  • Those are widgets, so look under the widgets screen in your dashboard. But if they are not there, you will likely need to contact the developer of your theme – as these forums only support themes from the repository on this site.

    Since that’s a premium theme, I can’t check myself, but can you look in Admin > Appearance > Widgets and look on the right side of the page and see if it’s listed there as a “text” object?

    It appears to be in a widget class. Try looking in your text widgets in the dashboard. Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

    Widgets, of course…duh…thank you so much. They were right where I left them. Like Blanche, I’ve always depended on the kindness of strangers. Thanks again very much WPyogi!

    LOL – I almost always say too much is better than too little (at least when it comes to support here) – glad we all got it right anyway!
