Can’t find where to generate shortcode

    Heya.

    Just upgraded from the jQuery plugin to this plugin but I cannot find the option to generate the shortcodes nor is there anything on the Gutenberg or Classic Editor to see where to generate this.

    Am I blind or is the option missing?

    It would be hard for us to know if you are visually impaired, but where did you read that this version adds a Gutenberg block or or a shortcode generator?

    In addition a major rewrite and optimisation, this version adds the ability to display Years, Months, and is no longer limited to just 3 digits.

    A Gutenberg block is in the works, but not yet released.
    In the mean time the shortcode to display a countdown is still:

    [tminus t="target_date_and_time"/]

    where the target date and time is in the format of:
    YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS
    There are additional attributes that can be used as defined in the T(-) Countdown documentation.

    I was using the widget version previously and was able to drag the widget to the sidebar and then configure it, but as you have said this has been replaced by the shortcodes and the widget itself has been removed.

    It would be nice if there was a way to generate a shortcode from within the wp-admin (whether this is on the T(-) Countdown page or elsewhere)

    Yes we removed the sidebar widget for now. The widget might be added again in the future, but only after we add the Gutenberg block. In the meantime you can use the old jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget as before.
