Can’t format

Well, I feel like an absolute novice but I am having an issue creating a page. I do all the usual stuff, double return, inputting html etc but to no avail. I can’t get paragraphs to format and it is causing me too much stress. It should be a simple process right?

Please help. I am probably doing something so lame, I just need it pointing out…
