Can’t get blog back to .wordpress.com version

  • I canceled my domain and premium plan service today, but my blog is still saying eyeshadowcouture.net and an error instead of going back to the free version of eyeshadowcouture.wordpress.com.

    Why is this?

    Due to the differences between the various site hosting plans offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should probably ask WordPress.com Support instead.

    I went there and it says to ask in forums, I did and no reply back.

    Nevermind, it went back to normal, problem fixed!

    You’ll need to either ask the company you had your webhosting and domain name with or else ask the support people at WordPress dot com to help you sort this out.

    We here at WordPress dot org don’t register domains nor do we provide web hosting. Your domain name, the one you seem to say you canceled, resolves to a server at WordPress dot com so that is possibly the company that registered your domain name and your web hosting so that might be the best place to ask.

    We just provide the free WordPress software itself and support for that same system.
