Cant get browser cache to work for images

    Hi all,
    I must admit I’m stuck…
    I cant get browser cashing to work. Speed tests says “leverage browser cache” for all my images (png, jpg).
    What I have done so far:
    – re-installed w3 total cache
    – checked and also tried to manually set .htaccess parameters according to different recommendations, including w3 total caches own auto-edited .htacces (yes, i have mod-rewrite)
    – Everything else seems to work, installation/compability check checks out.
    – Headers (when checked with chrome addin “live http headers) doesnt have any expiry-times set….
    – I have tried to inactivate othe addons and extensions

    Can anyone have any idea of what I have missed to get browser cache to work?

    SOLVED:
    It was the server providers default cache settings at server level, not at application level, that was the problem. The HTTP headers was set by the server and when the settings changed, all worked…
