Can’t get categories to work properly

  • I have a drop down category widget.

    I created several posts using a custom post type

    I then created a grid.

    But when I select a category from the drop down on the front end, it shows all my posts, twice, rather than just showing posts matching the selected category.

    When I’m creating the grid, what am I supposed to select in the Category list? All of my categories?

    I don’t understand how you try the “category from the drop down on the front end” any live demo or screenshot?
    probably the way you are trying may not possible with this plugin.

    it’s the basic category widget that’s been a wordpress thing since before time itself.

    When you go to widgets, and drag the “Categories” widget into a widget area. That’s what I’m talking about.

    your plugin doesn’t work with the built in WordPress category function?

    You probably implement post grid on archive page. This feature only available in premium version.
