Cant get exclude to work

    Hello, i have wpforo forums in my website and when i activate Litespeed cache the forums stops working. Deactivating litespeed makes the forums work but site speed worse. Im trying to exclude forums but its not working and i dont understand why. Any ideas what i might be missing? slug is forum and the forum path is website/forum/ and ive tried excluding forum/, /forum/, /forum/*, forum/* but nothing seems to work

    Hi,

    Have you tried “forum” in Do not Cache URI ?

    If that still not working , please provide the report number

    Tried to put “forum” in excludes do not cache URIs but still not working. Now i have
    “forum”
    forum/
    forum/*
    /forum/
    /forum/*
    But still not working.. Im so lost about what im doing wrong

    Hi,

    If you check in HTTP response header, do you see x-litespeed-cache header in forum page ? and if so , what is the value of it ?

    this one , yes , the second from bottom , x-litespeed-cache: no-cache

    this means that page is NOT being cached by LiteSpeed

    Oh okay… So the exclude IS working but some setting or something is making the forum acting weird. I watched some tutorial how to make litespeed work better so i have changed some settings from the default settings. Its just weird when i deactive litespeed plugin, my forums works normally. Messages are delivered instantly and pages updating normally etc but instantly when i activte litespeed everything gets messed up. Cant delete messages, messages taked ages to send or the message box wont even load. Any idea could it be some setting whats doing that? Weird tho how its possible if its not even caching the site. Mby some setting about logged in users or something?

    So yeah i have been testing my forums and yes the exclude works but i still ahve problem when litespeed plugin is activated, the forum message box won’t load, just has spinning load icon and when i deactive litespeed it works normally. Im not sure anymore where i should ask help for this or what setting is doing that, is it in wpforo settings or litespeed. Asked help from wpfro forums too but havent gotten any help yet.

    Hi,

    You can try further exclude the forum page to be optimized, maybe some options in optimization breaks it

    Soo further excluding means i type the forum like tha4 in the pic without slashes?

    yeah well , actually with / it also works , but you didn’t notice I guess

    there are 2 excludes, 1 is for excluding from being cached, another one is for excluding from being opitmized
