Is anyone using cformsII ? I just started using wordpress, and cformsII Version v14.6. It seems really nice, but I can’t figure out how to get it into my post! I’ve been googling for hours. Reading all kinds of OLD tutorials and posts that apparently no longer apply to this version of wordpress and this version of cformsII. I’m using the default form, and have added 1 hidden field.

I’ve tried adding <!–cforms name=”myForm”–> to the post. I’ve tried to use the TinyMCE Button (I have double checked to see if Button Support is enabled, and I think it is – but I don’t get the little popup that lets me select a form as shown in the help file). Nothing works – except if I put the form into a widget then it appears in the sidebar – very strange.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

After staring at the help files for the last hour, I finally figured it out!

You have to be in VISUAL mode to get the TinyMCE button! I was always in text mode! The help file makes no mention of this!

And when I entered the raw code: <!–cforms name=”myForm”–> it was entered as html with LT and RT literals instead of actual < and > symbols, as all I did was copy it.

Maybe someone else will benefit from my hours of head banging.
