Can’t get Google Album to display on Photonic Gallery

I am having an issue with our Photonic gallery on one of my web pages now that Picasa has been retired or is getting phased over to Google Photos. It appears that I am unable to make a picasa album public like my other albums and so I am having a hard time adding it to show in the Photonic Gallery. I tried following some steps to get the album ID but nothing seems to be working.
What is the best way to get this album to display in Photonic gallery now?
