• Hey Guys,

I am currently running Spacious on my site https://letsbuildwp.com (if I am not allowed to link I apologise, please just remove the link, but please keep the question! ??
I love the theme so far but I am having difficulty authorizing my Google+ page with my website.
I take the code and add it to my header.php file like I normally do with any other sites I build but unfortunately it isn’t working! :/
I have also tried in the “business page” in the editor as well as I am using it as my homepage but unfortunately I still can’t get it to work!
ANY help with this would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank-You in advance,
    Martie”

  • Hi Martie,

You can view here about the detail how Google Plus works https://developers.google.com/+/web/follow/ and authorization is compulsory and if you are not getting authorized than first check the condition to approve your id and sharing in Google.
We have checked the Google Plus in our theme and its working perfect.

by your theme do you mean the “spacious” theme? if so can you maybe show me where you pasted it? The problem only seems to be occurring in this theme.
    Thanks a lot! ??

    Hi Martie,

Before pasting the code in header.php file you have to create the child theme and header.php file also in child theme than paste the google plus code just above the wp_head().
    Hope you can do it.

I have pasted the google plus code into many wp sites before without using a child theme, are you using the spacious theme and trying this? if so can you show me where you are pasting your code?
