Can't get into Admin after update

    I updated my sites using the Simple Scripts updater provided by my web hosts. Now when logging in to 3 of my 4 sites Admin areas I get this message.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: akismet_server_connectivity_ok() in /home3/easyldco/public_html/colleen/wp-content/plugins/akismet/admin.php on line 268

    It seems the one site that I can get to has the older version of Akismet and I’m not going to upgrade it until the problem is resolved on the other sites. What should I do? The site that does work is running Askismet Version 2.4.0 but it tells me I should upgrade to version 2.5.1. I don’t know what version I’m on with the other 3 sites as I can’t get into the Admin area.

    I should add that it’s the login screen I can’t access. Also, the actual blog looks fine. It’s just a problem of logging in to the Admin area.

    does that mean you using your domain name for wordpress

    If so check index.php file in root and see if you have this in line 17
    require(‘./colleen/wp-blog-header.php’);

    Are you comfortable manually updating Akismet? You can grab the latest and greatest from https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/akismet/ and copy those files up. Should fix your problems.

    They will all need to have Akismet upgraded :/ The patch rolled things back.

    Hey guys, I had about the same problem..I updated my theme and once i log out and try to login the login page doesnt even show up.
    It says this on the side bar:

    Is akismet free..im not sure what to do..any help would be greatly appreciated.
