I’ve been trying to make BTF work with WooCommerce products but haven’t been able to make it do anything.

I associated the plugin with the Product custom post type, associated some taxonomies to it, but in the front-end when I make any search it always retrieves every product, even though im searching for a value that I know it’s only present in one of them.

The function show_beautiful_filters_info() isn’t outputting anything either, even when the page reloads with some search, the combo boxes do show the selected choice though.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

    Hi!

The plugin currently only works for posttype archives. Since Woocommerce doesnt actually use the product posttype archive but rather a static page (usually called shop) it’s not compatible. The Permalinks would not look like /product/taxonomy/term/taxonomy/term but rather shop/taxonomy/term which doesn’t work with wordpress internal filtering functionality.

This plugin doesn’t add a completely new filtering “engine”, it relies on WordPress own.

But there are plenty of filter plugins out there made specifically for Woocommerce AND Woocommerce comes with a builtin filter widget you can use ??
