Can’t get it to work

    Hi!

    I’m trying the plugin for the first time.
    I created a Facebook App, got ID and Secret, but when I put them in the Settings I get the message

    “Something went wrong! please try again.”

    And when I try the shortcode [wpfb_events page_id=”188031851761318″ new_window=”1″ col=”3″ max_events=”10″ ] , I get “Please insert Facebook page ID for display events”

    Am I missing something or why is it?

    Thanks for reaching out to us.and sorry for inconvenience to you.

    Generally this type of error generated because of ” Invalid FB app key and secret key “. Please insert valid “FB app key and secret key”.and let us know if still issue is not solved out then give us l i n k of events or facebook page/event which you are importing(Facebook u r l )which you are using for import.

    App ID and Secret are copied-pasted from Facebook Apps. I tried again to make sure, but they were correct and I still get the same error.

    Should I do something with the App, beside creating one (empty, basically)?

    I’m trying to import events from page https://www.facebook.com/associacio.lamiranda/

    Here you can find detailed document how you can create facebook APP, It seems you are giving wrong credential or something not following while creating app.

    – Create another App following below steps given here
    – Once setup done you can check further guide here

    Thanks a lot! Now I got it working!

    (BTW, for the guide, it seems not possible to deactivate the ‘Use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs ’ but everything works correctly anyway)
