I’ve installed the plug in but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is there instructions I can follow somewhere?

  • Hi, I tested your website upon my devices and noticed that all the features of PWA are working perfectly. Can you please let me know the browser and device at which you tested?

    Thanks Jose.

iPhone 8 Plus on Safari and Chrome.

    Android 8.1 using Chrome.

    Google Pixel 2 using Chrome.

Nothing. We also checked the superpwa.com website and couldn’t get it there. Are these devices/browsers unsupported for PWA? If so do you know if there will be updates soon?

    Thanks for your help.

There was also an iPad test using Chrome.

As for noticing the Add to Home screen prompt upon Android, you need to visit the website on Google Chrome for Android browser and can notice a prompt like this video.

As for iOS there’s no A2HS prompt right now for PWA and PWA only works upon Safari browser right now. You can easily add PWA like this video. (For that the version of iOS should be either 11.3 or 11.4 or the latest)

We don’t get anything like that on Google Chrome. Could we be missing a setting? Have tried on two Google Pixel 2 phones.

Can you please let me know whether you have cleared the browsing data on browser before testing? Here’s the steps to clear the browsing data by tapping the browser menu on Google Chrome for Android > Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Select Advanced tab > from that select options like Browsing history, Cookies and site data, Cached images and files, Site settings and tap Clear Data.

After that test the website again and let me know how it turns out for you.

Closing this thread due to lack of activity. If you still have any further issues, you’re always welcome to open this thread.

I apologize Jose. I’ll look at this next week. We’re in the middle of working on launching the site.
