    Hi. I’m trying to get your plugin to work but I can’t. I’m using Google Analytics 4 and I know that Minimal Analytics doesn’t work with GA4, so I went with Analytics.js instead. The problem is, I still don’t see any traffic in my GA dashboard.

    Do you have any ideas why it doesn’t work?

    Best,
    Kacper

    @kacper3355 you’ll need gtag.js v4 for GA4

    @gijo Thank you! Considering it’s 91 KB, is it even worth it? In terms of speed of course

    @kacper3355 Google is eventually moving to GA4. Their original JS is 100+ KB. So this self hosted JS is better than original

    @gijo Thanks!

    I tested it for a day and it indeed seems to make the site faster. However, plugin doesn’t count all the visitors – when its active, real time users usually sit below 10, but when I revert to standard analytics code, it goes up a few times just like usual. Do you have any ideas what can be the reason of that?

    I shared one of my posts on a Facebook group I usually get a lot of traffic from, but with Flying Analytics I wasnt’ able to see any significant growth in real time users. Then I switched back to normal analytics code and real-time users count grew significantly.
