The Google Maps Builder 1.0.1 is installed, and the api is in place, but the marker settings NEVER show up. I see it in the screenshot but no matter what I do I get nothing.

I changed the number setting, and a little bitty green one showed up on the map once, then it disappeared.

I even disabled and reset it. What am I missing?
I just one one marker for my client’s office.

Sorry–NO ONE seems to have the answer to this. sigh.
I’m sure they will fix it, but I hate being patient. If you hear anything let me know, ok?

Hi there, in order to help we really need a bit more info:

    1) If you disable all other plugins do the markers then show up correctly?
    2) If you switch to the twentyfourteen theme do the markers show up?
    3) Please provide the name of your theme and a link to it if possible
    4) Please provide a link to your site showing the problem so we can see it live if possible.

    Thanks!

Try the plug-in ‘Google Maps Professional’.
    Kind regards,
    Arend

@arend1794 This isn’t the place to recommend other plugins. This is a support forum for our plugin.

I am also experiencing problems with this plugin.

I like the map styling options, and the ability to set width to % instead of pixels, etc.
When the map markers work they look ideal…

However, I have noticed that they no longer display in the WP Dashboard and on the web pages. I have no idea why.

I am using WordPress 4.1 … the Genesis theme with the Marcus child theme.
I have also disabled all other Map plugins.

    Please help

Toby, can you provide a link to a page on your site where I can see that problem live?

Hi Matt, thank you for your offer to help. ??

I have sent you a message using the contact form on your website.
    It includes access details.

I’m having a similar issue. It’s only just stopped working. I’ve created a map and embedded the shortcode here: https://www.flexmse.com/find-a-flex-mse-dealer-global/

The locations show up in the Map Preview and on the Permalink (although weirdly, also in the header..) at https://www.flexmse.com/google_maps/flex-mse-dealer-locations/

I’ve tried deactivating the plug however nothing is showing up.

    Any thoughts?

Hi Matt, it has been over a week since my last email.

I still cannot see any of the Map Markers in the WP Dashboard, even though one of them is visible on the Map.

I would be grateful if you could hep me out with this.

    … update:
I decided to start again, and created a new set of markers. This seemed to work, as the map and map setting area seem to be stable.

    Thanks

    Hi Matt,
I have a question. I notice that the map doesn’t seem to be fully responsive.
I appreciate that this theme may have not been promoted as so, but I would like to tackle a “narrow screen” related problem if you don’t mind.

… The map looks fine when I collapse the window to simulate the width of a smartphone… but, the marker windows don’t seem to display properly – the marker windows appear narrower, but the text runs out of the box (right) and off the page.

I was just wondering if there was some type of fix for this?

    Toby

    (@toby-barnes)

    … update:
I have identified the element, but I notice that it seems to be inline CSS.
    The white box I wish to change is width: 359px;
    I wish to change it to 227px, or max-width: 359; min-width: 227px;

I have searched the files in the plugin (using my OS), but none of the files seem to have 359px within them, or other parts of the line of inline CSS.

I would be very grateful if you could lend me a hand.

the same here (wordpress 4.1) I click the “add a marker” link the whole screen goes grey (besides the box title “build a map”) and nothing happens – no JS errors, no missing files, just nothing – this plugin is useless without markerks ??

Hey @piotrku – most likely you have a plugin conflict that’s rending the ability to add markers useless. Which theme are you using and do you have any other mapping plugins installed?
